The 2nd Congress of SFL Students’ Association, term 2020-2023

The Students’ Association of School of Foreign Language – Thai Nguyen University solemnly organized the 2nd Congress of the SFL Students’ Association for the 2020-2023 tenure on December 12th, 2020.

The Students’ Association of School of Foreign Language – Thai Nguyen University solemnly organized the 2nd Congress of the SFL Students’ Association for the 2020-2023 tenure on December 12^th, 2020.

Many delegates and guests were present in the Congress. On the side of SFL, there were Dr. Le Hong Thang – Communist Party Committee Secretary – Rector of SFL; Dr. Dang Thi Thanh Huong and Dr. Luu Quang Sang – Vice Rectors of SFL – TNU.

Attending the Congress, on the side of Provincial Students’ Association, it was truly an honor to host Mr. Doan Quang Duy – President of Students’ Association of Thai Nguyen province; Dr. Nguyen Quang Dong – President of TNU Students’ Association. In addition, there were also the delegates representing the Students’ Associations from other TNU universities and partners, along with 184 official delegates who are outstanding members of Students’ Association of the Classes, clubs and groups.

After approving the Drafts of Political Report and the Term Summary Report as well as the Draft of New Tenure’s Directions and Missions Report and the project on building the 2nd Executive Committee of Students’ Association, the entire Congress reached a consensus about the members’ number of the 2nd Executive Committee of the Students’ Association, term 2020-2023, including 15 comrades.

During the first session of the 2nd Executive Committee of the Students’ Association, the whole Congress listened to the paper “Student start-ups, I can do it, what about you ?” by Tran Thi Trang from CEC Club, ” Five-merit Students – not merely a title” by Ngo Xuan Huong from the Student of five merits club, and the paper of the CVC club titled ” Students volunteer for community life – To live is to share”.

At the end of the 1st plenum, the Art team brought to the congress the meaningful performances uniquely and exclusively found in SFL. In this solemn ceremony, the Congress was listening to the guidance from Dr. Le Hong Thang – Party Committee Secretary, Rector of SFL and Dr. Nguyen Quang Dong – President of TNU Students’ Association. Besides, there were many radiant and fresh flower baskets from partner units of the School.
