Citizen Activities’ Week in School Year 2020 – 2021

Implementing the plan of the school year 2020-2021 and the guidelines in Document No.1647/DHTN-CTHSSV dated September 4, 2020 of the President of Thai Nguyen University on the organization of “Citizen activities’ Week” for the AY 2020 – 2021, School of Foreign Languages, Thai Nguyen University successfully held “Citizen activities’ Week in the AY 2020 – 2021” from November 28 to November 29, 2020 at the Conference Center to raise students’ political awareness and civic responsibility in the learning and training process.

Attending and speaking at the program were Dr. Le Hong Thang – Secretary of Party Committee, Rector of SFL, TNU, Dr. Dang Thi Thanh Huong – Vice Rector of SFL, Mr. Pham Viet Ngoc – Secretary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of School of Foreign Languages​, the Heads of the Training Office, the Inspection and Quality Assurance Office, delegates from TNU Finance Department, Learning Resource Center, Heath Station of Thai Nguyen University and representatives from PA83 – Thai Nguyen Police along with more than 800 new students.
At the opening ceremony, Dr. Le Hong Thang – Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the School gave an opening speech to welcome new students, introduced the history and development process of the School of Foreign Languages to help them get along promptly and be more proud and love the major that they will pursue.

The citizen activities’ week at the beginning of the course helped the students know the School’s development and the new school year’s mission; maintenance of political security, order and safety; crime and social evils prevention; credit-based learning methods, building full-course study plans, term-by-term learning plans and practice for students; the Youth Union and the Students’ Association of the school. In addition, they were informed of the student affairs’ regulations, subsidiary policies, and health care regimes, managements on boarders and day students; and notes of caution for learning, practicing and obeying the School’s regulations.
